Artículo 89.- Las edificaciones de comercio deberán cumplir con los siguientes requisitos mínimos de seguridad:

1) A partir de 250 m² de área.

2) Cuando los requerimientos de agua (caudal y presión) del sistema de rociadores puedan ser abastecidos por el servicio de agua de la localidad, estos podrán conectarse directamente con la red pública, siempre y cuando exista una compañía de bomberos en la localidad.

3) Es requisito obligatorio contar con hidrantes que provean un caudal total mínimo de 750 gpm. (caudales sumados).

4) Serán requeridos hidrantes de la red publica con un caudal suficiente para el máximo riesgo, de acuerdo con la formula ISO.

5) Únicamente estaciones manuales y alarma de incendios

6) Cuando las rutas de evacuación así lo exijan

7) Para construcciones de un solo nivel, para edificaciones de 2 o más niveles se aplicaran los requerimientos de protección contra incendios de los Conjuntos de Tiendas.
